Helena Bonham Carter by Alisa A.
8th Grade students completed their grid portraits and color wheels and are now painting on canvas. Students have been working on mixing tones and tints and shades to give their paintings a sense of depth. Click on the “8th grade art gallery” in the next few weeks to see some of the great work our students have been doing.
Seventh grade students have completed their henna designs and are now working in Monet’s Impressionistic style to create a pastel landscape. Keep an eye on the “7th grade art gallery” in the next few weeks to see the creative pieces that they have been working on.
Sixth grade students have been busy! They finished their “complementary color scheme playing cards” and are now working to complete a clay project and a color wheel. I’ve noticed a lot of growth and excitement in the sixth graders as they complete this year of art. Their work is exceptional and I will be posting some of their completed pieces in the “6th grade art gallery” as the year comes to a close.
